Information: Stretch Lining Fabric Blue is a knitted fabric with the following properties: smooth, supple, light weight, shiny and stretchable in width. The fabric is made of 100% antistatic polyester. Charmeuse is a lightweight fabric woven with a satin weave and is generally used to line garments. The weave is created by the warp threads crossing a number of the support threads (weft threads). These 'floating' threads give the front of the fabric a smooth, reflective finish while the back has a dull finish. If you are looking for a less shiny smooth stretch fabric, the Ban-lon lining might be a better solution. If you want to assess the quality and/or the color, it is possible to order a separate sample.
Polyester is the most common fabric that can be found in the shops for use as a lining fabric because of its many good properties such as colorfast, dimensionally stable, wear-resistant, light and easy to clean.
