Since cotton is a natural product and has a GOTS certificate, you can use this stretchy tricot fabric for sewing children's clothing. Jersey is a general term for fabric also known as tricot fabrics. The fabric is knitted together with very long threads, so that it does not fray easily after cutting. You will see right stitches on one side and left stitches on the other. You have many different thicknesses and variants in it. Organic Cotton Jersey Fabric (Gots) is a single jersey and is known for its thinner, stretchy and supple properties. Only the front of the fabric has a v-pattern. This is called single jersey. Due to the knitting technique, the fabric has horizontal and vertical loops, making the fabric elastic in both directions.
