The fabric is knitted together with very long threads, so that it does not fray easily after cutting. You will see right stitches on one side and left stitches on the other. Only the front of the fabric has a v-pattern. This is called single jersey. Due to the knitting technique, the fabric has horizontal and vertical loops, making the fabric elastic in both directions.
