This is a single jersey, meaning the right side shows the familiar V-shaped knit structure and the reverse shows horizontal loops. Because the fabric is knitted rather than woven, the edges curl slightly when cut — normal for jersey — but it does not fray, which makes it forgiving to work with. A ballpoint or stretch needle and a small zigzag or overlock stitch will give you clean, durable seams.
